Several years ago, a friend of mine posted online that he was selling some figures, including this set.

I inquired too late. Someone else had already picked it up.

Years later, I saw it at Mandarake in Akihabara. It was near the beginning of my Japan trip, so instead of lugging it around the country I figured I'd buy it on the way back through Tokyo. When I went back, it had sold.

For the past couple years, I've just been watching eBay. Finally, a decent price came around.

💸 Detective action Mouse: P.I. for Hire moved about 360,000 copies in its opening days, according to a preliminary report from publisher PlaySide.

Steam preorders were 47,000; PC OUTSOLD consoles, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch 2 account for 44% of the run. Gross revenue is roughly $10.4M, but PlaySide kept $6.3M after store cuts, VAT and refunds. Figures are preliminary and may be revised.
