My favourite bit of modern application design is how we cram so much into toolbars that it's difficult to find somewhere to drag windows around the desktop.
Take VS Code. I open it on a 34" monitor, the window is approximate 10x12". The slither of toolbar which works as a drag handle? About 1.5" long, to the side of the search bar. That's it. Absolutely everything else is a poorly-contrasted control of some description.
Hilariously, while Excel and other Microsoft applications have similarly encumbered toolbars, many of their controls do actually work as drag targets. I assume this is the muscle memory which caused me to try to drag VS Code by the search bar, which doesn't work (works in Excel).
