Made some more progress on the #PearAndSnailCoif
I've been chipping away at this during mine and @SunnySidesofBlue's fortnightly chat & craft and sometimes at writing group.
The linework with silk isn't as crisp as with the cotton thread I used for the #UnstitchedCoif, but I'm still pretty pleased with the effect.
Submitted my #UnstitchedCoif reflections this morning, and bought my train tickets to Sheffield for Saturday so I can hand it in and complete the V&A donation paperwork.
The only thing I don't have so far is a pic of me with the work. I should maybe get one taken.
Bugs and insects.
I should have been in bed two hours ago, but here are some photos.
By some miracle, the sequins are done.
198 hours and 45 minutes. I'm calling it, it's finished.
I want to put my initials and the year in cross stitch in the border, probably in teal as that's the lightest. But that's not happening tonight.
Stabbing update. Got far more done tonight than I thought I would.
193 hours in total so far. 15 hours and 15 mins of that has been on sequins over the past two days. No longer so confident I can get it done by the end of Tuesday, but we shall see.
Could definitely get it done by pulling a sickie, but I'm not going to do that. Sewing will need to happen during Writing Group both days.
