Flight bound for Houston makes early landing after five injured during severe turbulence

SkyWest flight 5690, operating as a United Express flight out of Springfield, Missouri, was headed to the George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Sunday before the early landing, according to a statement from SkyWest.
