[โฆ] I think I've written it before here on Mastodon, but I probably would've enjoyed watching the journey of the #USSEquinox from #STVoyager more. Watching how they slowly but surely lost their struggle to follow the #Starfleet/Federation ideals, even though it would've been at odds with #GeneRoddenberry's utopian view. [3/3]

@InvaderXan @[email protected] one way they could've further explored the idea of 'what if Voyager had been trying to do /all/ that it takes to get back home', more than just the Equinox episodes, without sacrificing the Roddenberry principles, would've been to have 1 or 2 seasons set in a #MirrorUniverse or rather just an alternate universe, where we'd see them slowly abandon the Starfleet ethics. I'd follow a season of the adventures of the #USSEquinox.
