The witnesses, who appeared before the House Oversight and Government Reform Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, also testified on the need for government transparency and increased protections for whistleblowers, described reports of other sightings of UAP, and shared how some had been retaliated against by government agencies for sharing their experiences. Also testifying was George Knapp, an investigative reporter from KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, who has investigated UAP for the past few decades.
