The United States Supreme Court just destroyed its own Judicial Branch.
In Trump v Casa, lower courts can no longer issue universal injunctions.
That means that one state might stop an Executive Order while its being hashed out but it only applies there.
Trump (and any president moving forward) can flood the courts with EOs, create a denial of service attack on the courts, and do anything he wants. Those EOs could be struck down years later in higher courts, sure, but the damage will have long been done.
Well. There goes that. The US courts have fallen.
The institutions cannot protect you. EOs mean jack shit unless someone enforces them. There are only so many enforcers.
Build your own institutions. Build your own community. Let what has fallen, fall. This sucks. But here we are.
