5 K-Dramas That Could Inspire You To Change Professions
Day 6: #kdrama that I have dropped in 2023.
Sadly I have dropped too many and also found that a number of dramas just did not my grab my interest. Must note that I do not have #VIKI so there are limits to what is viewed. Here goes.
#TrueToLove #DailyDoseOfSunshine #StrongGirlNamSoon #SongOfTheBandits #Doona #BlackKnight
Interesting fact: a shallow dialogue about Auschwitz concentration camp was removed from episode 9. It caused an international uproar and it was heavily criticized among Koreans too.
Production and writers apologized. However it's still hard to believe that such inappropriate take was filmed and released without second thoughts.

I admit to be conflicted about this #drama. It has many good qualities, like the range of different relationships it portrays, the complexity of making things work at different stages in life. It's not a naive show and it's very introspective.
But. I get inexplicably annoyed by small details in the plot, like the absurd absence of parents at critical twists or the indulgence towards the narcissistic and manipulative ex.

JU NE(๊ตฌ์คํ) - Accidental Love(์ฐ์ฐํ, ์ฌ๋ )
Yoo In Na deserves the Best Actress award for this show, especially for episode 05. She perfectly captured and portrayed a person who loves their ex deeply, gave everything, and only to be dumped later for someone else.
It was as if Yoo In Na experienced it herself. She cried naturally, was she still acting? She showed her character's desperation, she shook, her body movements and facial expressions were exactly what it is in real life.
And that's just the character she's playing. We haven't even started talking how great the show is in pacing and focusing on what a person goes through when heartbroken. From break-ups, refusing to accept their new reality, to moving-on, and to picking the pieces of their broken heart. And we're only at episode 5 and 6.
100 out of 10 stars.

An episode that is truly based on true-to-life break-ups and relationships. A must watch. 99% of what was depicted in this episode re: break-up and signs, were very similar, if not exactly the same, that happened between me and my ex-gf after 15 years together. The only difference, I was Bo Ra and she was Bo Ra's ex-bf.
