Much like Neverland, I felt like I'd outgrown monster films like Godzilla.

But Troll, out of Norway, is loads of fun, funny, and while it doesn't shake up the genre, it features some fresh approaches to conflict and character dynamics.

Troll review: We see them trollin’

Now on Netflix, Roar Uthaug’s Troll gives Norway a slice of the monster movie pie, and viewers a fun popcorn flick.

I just watched this fantastic little film on Netflix #TrollNetflix. It’s a well done monster fable from Norway. (Do not watch dubbed) It’s not sci-fi, no science. It’s a fairy tale. It’s sweet. The heroes are Muslim. And, spoiler, the nerd gets the girl.
Just finished watching Troll on Netflix. Ever since I heard about this I've been excited to see the movie. Absolutely loved it! #TrollNetflix
