Wednesday game: An excellent night of personalized politics with the Fallen debating the right of the PCs to live in their society followed up by a rush to hold the line against an invading group set on eradicating the Fallen!
The group had some really cool speeches in the first part - great role play. And some creative uses of eminence during the fight, in addition to just kicking ass.
I got this after the game from B.
Wednesday game: It's been pretty weird lately. They are ☆completely☆ off the rails story-wise. But I'm rolling with it and they're having fun. That's really all that matters. I do feel like we're not playing the game as it was intended, though. I know, once I've started the module the story is mine. But I'm not sure we could ever play another written module again, seeing how far off the story we are. It's so much fun to wrestle with the story every week!
Wednesday game: Big talking night. There were threads to bring back to the fore and decisions for the team to make.
Had this conversation with them...
NPC: Do you know what the single most important thing for achieving a goal is?
B: A plan (all hangdog)
NPC: Having a goal.
B: (silent, head in hands)
But they picked a goal, and now I can actually do some planning for the story going forward. High trust is a big change for everyone.
Wednesday game: They started investigating the murder one of the PCs was framed for. Completely fell for the red herring tossed their way. Except for the kid. Once again, they have the nose for the truth. I swear I'm not sharing extra information with them!
Some clever ideas this time, though, from all of them! I'm not sure if we'll play Tribe 8 next week, as the kid can't make it, and the group is hesitant to "play without their brain."
