#Austrians are so much obsessed with their Treppelwege, and with doing them right that in some parts there is an ending and begining of #Treppelweg sign in every intersection.
And portable Treppelweg signs if there is a disturbance in the Treppelweg equilibrium.

Treppelweg means towpath and I am puzzled why Austrians put this sign at the beginning and end of these everywhere.
There is one every few kilometers. In what way is it useful to know every path that was used for towing ships down to meter precision?
