ROMA (ITALPRESS) – E' stato annullato anche il secondo dei due superG previsti a Courchevel, Francia, nell'ultima tappa di Coppa del Mondo maschile prima delle finali di Lillehammer.La forte nevicata ha reso impossibili gli sforzi degli organizzatori per garantire le sufficienti misure di sicurezza in pista e la giuria di gara ha così deciso per la cancellazione della prova domenicale che non sarà recuperata.La cancellazione della seconda gara di Courchevel consegna a Marco Odermatt anche la coppa di specialità di superG: l'elvetico con 425 punti è irraggiungibile per tutti, a cominciare dagli austriaci Vincent Kriechmayr 8267), Stefan Babinsky (243) e Raphael Haaser (241) che lo seguono in classifica. Cinque gli azzurri al superG delle finali di Coppa del Mondo: Giovanni Franzoni (quinto con 240 punti), Dominik Paris (nono, 157), Mattia Casse (15esimo, 110), Christof Innerhofer (19esimo, 86) e Guglielmo Bosca, ventesimo con 74 punti.

The heavy snowfall made it impossible for the organizers to guarantee sufficient safety measures on the course, and the race jury therefore decided to cancel Sunday’s race, which will not be recovered. Might be a touchy subject, but are #Germans (and #Austrians I would guess) able to privately support #Palestine or is that not discussed? Would you be shunned for doing so? What is it like in the media, universities, etc?
From what I’m seeing, protests are being dispersed and protestors harshly dealt with, so definitely not encouraged in the public realm.
