A #TreetopPath had been on my #BucketList for a long, long time. I love the #forest, #trees, greenery, everything!
It's not far from Osnabrück to Bad Iburg's treetop path, so it was crystal clear that I had to go there! Iburg #Castle and Benedictine #Abbey tower above the town (photos 7 and 8). The Iburg was built in 1070 on a hill as a castle with a wooden chapel, and the Benedictine monastery in it was founded in 1080.
But that's not the point. I. Was On. A. Treetop path! And it was great 😃
Lots of stations where visitors can learn about the forest and its inhabitants. Among other things, there are telescopes through which visitors can look and discover the animals of the forest. Do you see the #squirrel in the first picture? 😉
