Folks wonder about Oregon. This climate, this soil, this water is so fine. In the garden today, #TreePeonies popping everywhere, herbaceous #Peonies opening, forget-me-nots and ajuga sparkling, rhododendrons and camellias still blooming, and roses loaded with buds.

The bottom half of the graft decided to show itself again and the petals aren’t burnt-looking this year. Hopefully the intended half of the graft with the big fuchsia flowers will show up this year as well.
