Riding with my parents on the Shinkansen is rather embarrassing. I told them not to talk, they do it anyways and don't recognize the stares of death. That they spilled coffee around just is the icing on top 🙄

Today first time my parents actually managed to do stuff on their own. Since they rarely get out of the room before 11 I left around 9, enjoyed an early breakfast in Chinatown, had a nice lunch at a new Vegan restaurant and then did hike up the mountain. Now slowly going back 😎

We have been in Matsue, Izumo and now in Takehara, tonight going to Hiroshima. Currently I am enjoying Kotatsu with a nice view of the small Japanese garden in the courtyard. Will take a bath afterwards 🙂

After leaving Yonago we visited friends who own a soy brewery and afterwards to Kiomyzu temple where we will have a bath, dinner and stay overnight. A very pleasing day...

This morning we were in Sakaiminato, Yonago and explored the street that is themed after the anime character Kitaro ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeGeGe_no_Kitar%C5%8D )

It's amazing with mazybe a hundred statues along the street. After that we ate some Osenbe and now enjoy the Japanese garden Yuushien.
