Can anybody explain that "show more" label in toots? Why are you using it? It doesn't seem to be as cw? #toothelp

I have questions and I hope there are people out there who will help me understand this site! First off, I’m mainly using the app, so please (& thankyou) specify what I need for tightening up this experience.
1st ? - I’m seeing a lot of posts in languages I don’t know. I thought I could use translate it somehow, but not sure.
2nd ? - If I migrate to another server, I’ll lose my followers or just my posts?
3rd ? - How do I follow a #? #knitting, #gardening
