Some reporter (presumably American) seemed to be disappointed that #Banksy turns out to be a middle aged British man.

WTF did they expect him to be? Especially given all the cultural clues / influences in his art, and that the British Establishment haven't nicked him for criminal damage (which is what would happen to a younger person or one from a less privileged middle class background)

BTW have a look at these (don't worry if your French isn't that good, the dialogue is minimal) and you will see where he got the inspiration for a lot of his art as a young lad 😁
