A ★★★ review of Together 99 (2023)

"I went to the reunion and all I got was this t-shirt" is kind of how it felt to watch this. And that is kind of a disappointment as I truly love the first film. It just felt like a reunion where you worry about what will happen but have high hopes and afterwards it's just... okay. There are some fun fresh ideas, like David Dencik who shows up and nobody remembers him, but in the end it didn't move me much.
