This morning I got a call from the organisation I interviewed with yesterday to tell me I got the job. With my contract running out end of this month this is good timing.

Then I went into work at noon. I was hoping my FedEx packet would have been delivered by then, but it hadn't. The delivery window would close before I'd get home so I didn't expect to get it today. It got delivered 5 minutes after I got home.

And I found out I won 100 bucks in the national lotery.

I did a core-focused yoga session before work and started the day refreshed and feeling good.

My manager said really nice things in my annual review, including "It is clear her colleagues recognize her expertise and knowledge for technical editing and proofreading as expressed to me through various accolades."

After work, Husband and I went mountain biking and I successfully rode over an intimidating fallen tree step-up - it took me a few tries, but I got it! And I rode *up* our usual drop *in*, which I don't think I've ever managed before. We may go again tomorrow :)

Then we had teriyaki chicken bowls for dinner and now we're watching the second half of today's Tour de France stage, and I'm going to do some spinning while it's on.

For Juneteenth I spent the evening hanging out with some artists, of various shades of skin tones, at @OpenMicOnMain and we then hung up some our pieces. I'm stoked to have gotten one of my pieces hung up somewhere outside of my house. Woot woot!

#Linux partition on my main PC looking better and better:
-Got GraXpert running in Pixinsight on Linux, too
-Succesfully rendered a first video in DaVinci Resolve in 4k after I solved an audio issue and transferred my Resolve library on my NAS to Linux (only tricky part was to have all the bins relinked, as the paths are quite different between the OS)
- Got #Ryujinx running in the same way as on my #steamdeck
