I appreciate the many posts here on #ClimateChange. I grab onto any basis for hope in the midst of despair. I think it was #BillMcKibben whose recent column recommended #NotTooLate, co-edited by #RebeccaSolnit and #ThelmaYoungLutanatabua, now in my #ToBeReadPile. Solnit's #OrwellsRoses also led me to #GeorgeOrwell, and to this quotation this morning that I find encouraging somehow: "... our job is to make life worth living on this earth, which is the only earth we have." @bookstodon

HappyMrsRoryI’m excited and overwhelmed by this task I’m about to take on: cataloging all of my #books on #goodreads. And I mean every book. There are a lot.
I’m going to shelve each of them as owned, read or owned, to be read. I think this will help me to figure out just how big the #tobereadpile is. I need to chip away at that.
I want to log reference books like the #DnD Player’s Handbook but do I mark that as read? Unread? I’m not going to read that or my English to Spanish dictionary cover to cover.
SuzyShearerDetermined to get rid of my TBR pile. Pull 9 books off it and put them on the coffee table to read over the next few weeks.
Then I'll pull another 9 & keep doing it until my pile is manageable. Suffice to say I'll be reading for at least a year to get it down (that's if I can resist buying more books).
