I have a follow up #mammogram tomorrow. I've been completely calm until a couple of hours ago when I thought about the timing. They are going to give me the results before I leave and I don't know how I'm going to be present at the 3 holiday events I have this week if it is anything but a definitive no. There's never a good time to hear you have cancer, or we're still worried it could be cancer so you need more tests, but right before the holidays definitely feels like a worse time than others.

I know for a fact that there is generational trauma behind many or even most instances of sexual assault or physical/emotional abuse and I know sexual assault and abuse is underreported and so the problem is likely bigger than we know but the cycle has to start somewhere.
This was said about bullies too. How could every single bully, abuser, rapist, murderer ALL have this kind of trauma? I am feeling very raw right now. This hasn't come up in so long. #sexualassault
Today I was told that the boss that sexually assaulted me must've been through it too and that's why he got me drunk and raped me. Ya know what though? No. I'm a pretty generous person but not every evil fuck has trauma. Some people are just evil and it definitely isn't uncommon for someone in power to do evil shit. A pig sized elephant. No it isn’t a traditional mythical creature but it is fictional. I know pig and elephant DNA just won’t splice but if it could that is what I would want.

Once upon a time my mother was changing my diaper and she reached for the baby wipes. They used to have a kinda star shaped hole that they came out of and they’d fallen in so she stuck her finger in and couldn’t get it out. Her finger started changing colors because the tub was heavy so she started panicking and wound up calling 911.
The fire dept showed up. They unscrewed the heavy tub part so just the lid was left on her finger and cut the lid off of her using her own scissors. 🤦♀️
