Just discovered the great idea to do my first #ThursdayNightSocialRide as a warmup for the #FiveBoroBikeTour from the #ATLCriticalMass FB group 🙃
I did my first #SocialCyclingNYC #ThursdayNightSocialRide! A great diversity of bikes and people. Faster group, often riding 13-15 mph when not stopped. When confronted with the large group, 99% of drivers and peds feel joy; 1% immediately rage.
I rode my 2008 Gary Fisher Artemis, which I bought new for around $400. I thought it would fall apart or get stolen in 2-3 years, but it's still going!
