USB-C is the physical connector, not the type of cable. This can be super confusing. It may only work to charge (not necessarily with the same wattage rating), and there are 9 different types of data cable (variations of USB2, USB3, USB4, and Thunderbolt 3-5) that use the USB-C connector. MacBook NeoではiPhone 16 Proにも採用されているモバイル向けのApple Silicon「A18 Pro」が初めてMacへ採用されましたが、このA18 ProはUSB 3コントローラー歯科搭載していないため、MacBook NeoではThunderbolt専用アクセサリやデバイスは利用できないようになっています。
Weil mein USB-Dock nur sehr unzuverlässig den externen Bildschirm erkannt hat, habe ich mir ein neues Thunderbolt-Dock für den Linux-Laptop besorgt. Und was soll ich sagen: Der Bildschirm läuft tippitoppi!... Die USB-Anschlüsse des Docks werden allerdings nicht erkannt. Ächz.
