What is the difference between "nostalgia" and just having a long shelf life? If I buy tickets to see #TheRollingStones, am I being nostalgic for their glory days or are they "still going strong"?
From another angle: #StarTrek #PIC was clearly based on nostalgia for #TNG, but was #DSC based on nostalgia for Trek as a whole?

Skills are application of knowledge.
Tough to learn a skill without knowledge. It can be done - that's trial & error. We all do some of that. It is not usually the cost effective method: both time & $$
Just realized I misspelled tow with toe. However, it did make me wonder if someone did need a toe truck, what that would look like?
Imagine if adults behaved as babies & cried whenever we were too hot, too cold, tired, hungry, had to go to the bathroom or were just in a crappy mood.
The constant din would be deafening & nothing would ever be accomplished.
