Another awesome day among the #FlywayHighway !
We started with a nice flow of Short-toed Eagles, Booted Eagles, Black #Kites and more.
Then along the coast we encountered Bonelli’s #Eagles and this handsome zooming nr-adult Rüppell’s #Vulture!

Amazing moving power of #FlywayBirding yesterday on our #Migration tour!
569 White Storks cruised out to Africa just metres above our heads! 570 European Honey Buzzards powered through as 222 Booted Eagles, increasing numbers of Short-toed Eagles and 274 European Bee-eaters dodged the migrating Pallid and Common Swifts!
Last night we explored a little known part of the Parque Natural Los Alcornocales on our doorstep.
We were surrounded by singing and moth-munching Red-necked Nightjars !
One sat on this spot right in front of us and began singing as we watched its throat pulsating with its galloping song !

Our crew from Bangor University were counting the soaring migrants returning to Europe across the daunting #14km of #TheStraits here today - 847 soaring #Birds logged by our #team today !

Yesterday evening we happened upon 700+ Black Kites and 5 Egyptian Vultures making a late in the day push for Europe and we were bang in the middle of their vortex!
What a great end to our tour for our guests !
