This restoration is not based on an original print from 1916 because as far as anyone can tell there are no surviving prints of the original release of “The Good Bad Man” (1916). This restoration was made using a print from a 1923 re-release of the film that occurred when the Mutual and Triangle Film companies were liquidated.
