I just finished #TheFaithless by #CLClark. I enjoyed the first book in the series a bit more - it was such a rich and complex exploration of the intergenerational effects of colonization, the way colonial power makes those with power deeply untrustworthy, and the way those invitations of power happen even when people have good intentions. It was great. This one was also excellent but less focused, more characters and storylines leading up to the third book. #amreading #bookstodon #fantasy
