I visited #TheBritishLibrary in #London, albeit on on Sunday when many rooms were closed. It was packed with people studying. Pepple were sharing tables, benches and sitting on the floor. One man was drying his socks while working on a bench. There were two giant gift shops. It could have been designed better as a free public space, it felt more like a museum. #library #books #bookstodon

I went to this exhibition at #TheBritishLibrary on the opening day as I happened to be in London - it seemed like fate.
It was… magical. Just being in the same room as the 1.000 year old Beowulf manuscript made me feel like I entered a fairy tale.
I also walked away with a really long list of to-read books in the Notes
