Dune Rats Perform 'Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again' With John Brewster On Yungblud Tour
The Angels’ John Brewster joined Dune Rats for an epic mid-set performance of the Aussie rock classic.
This live performance is definitionally Australian and perhaps my favourite.
It was recorded in 1988 at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds as part of a celebration of the Bicentenary of Captain Cook sailing around the Indian and Pacific oceans and accidentally ‘finding’ Australia when it had never been lost in the first place.
It involves a certain amount of crowd participation that The Angels had never anticipated at the time of recording, but grasped when it came back at them from the crowds they played to.

Trying to explain The Angels to the kids.
It requires a live performance.
