@jloc0 @nwgpiotr using nwg-hello/greetd on slackware64-current. I wonder if there should be a man 5 page for nwg-hello to explain different ways to set it up, as outlined in the README.md? Also, since slackwere uses sysv-init by default, the sleep, reboot and poweroff commands are different. I have them configured.

@jloc0 @dobbie003 I now have a working local CLI mpd in slackware64-current!

Next is to see if I can get it working over the network. Shouldn't be too difficult.

After that, I might build a gtk3dialog (a program in my slackbuilds) frontend for mpc/mpd. Not a big fan of Ymuse. It's ok but dependencies suck! gtk3dialog is a gtk interface more or less to shell scripts - with the correct GUI description!

Then get slack on my RPI 4 (8GB) and _THAT_ can be the server for all my music 😈
