The tech job market is brutal right now. Today, I got another rejection for a position I applied for months ago—months that feel wasted. At least this time I got some feedback, but it only reinforces the fact that employers have the upper hand, while we unemployed candidates are left fighting for scraps.

I cried hard today. The hope I had is slipping away, bit by bit. I've never felt so worthless, so powerless—wishing either for a miracle or to just vanish completely.

I’ve been keeping a log of all my interactions with recruiters—applications, follow-ups, interviews. That log has more than 200 entries now, and all I feel is that I’ve been commodified, treated like something disposable at the whim of a corporation. This isn’t the dream we were promised.

Right now, the only things keeping me here are my loved ones and the antidepressants I rely on. Otherwise, I don’t know if I’d still be standing. Corporate greed is at an all-time high, while the world prepares for its first trillionaire.
