After the fuckery of yesterday I was much better prepared and did my blood test and the call without issue.
I think I’m going to email them with feedback on how they could make their shit more accessible.
All I needed was a bit more warning of what would be required so my nervous system didn’t act like I was about to be mauled to death by a tiger.
The blood collection device is kinda neat and pretty easy to use. It would be amazing if maybe some NHS blood tests could be done at home.
Two things during the process amused me though.
Firstly, due to me wearing less/lighter clothes and possibly my scales being weird, my weight today was recorded as 10kg less than what I casually recorded/estimated when I signed up a few days ago.
So as soon as I was past the test registration bit the app congratulated me on losing 10kg already. Well done to me!
Secondly, during the call the agent apparently had control of switching to my phone’s back camera without me doing anything and this was his view.
