"Alice's Restaurant Massacree", commonly known as "#AlicesRestaurant", is a satirical #talkingBlues song by singer-songwriter #ArloGuthrie, released as the title track to his 1967 debut album Alice's Restaurant. The song is a deadpan protest against the #VietnamWarDraft, in the form of a comically exaggerated but largely true story from Guthrie's own life: while visiting acquaintances in #StockbridgeMassachusetts, he is arrested.

Evidently when "The All American Boy" was playing in 1958 and (mostly) 1959, I was listening the other way. I gave this a try at Bandcamp and bought it; but for some reason, evidently it is no longer available there. Too bad but we still have YouTube. This track is really quite good.
