@beps @edfattell I like #iTerm because it lets you have several sites open at once in tabs, and for some reason it is really hard to find another #TerminalEmulator that has profiles for the sites you frequently visit and that opens those sites in tabs rather than split windows. I HATE HATE HATE seeing more than one thing on my screen at once so you can imagine how I feel about window splits (I suspect iTerm can do them, but I don't want them, ever).

The only terminal emulator I have found that comes close is #TabbyTerminal, and it is multi platform and it is okay, but it's not iTerm. I have never personally found iTerm to be too slow for what I do so I have no idea how Tabby compares on that. It's probably been a couple of years since I went searching for a terminal emulator comparable to iTerm (but cross platform) so maybe there is something newer that more closely resembles iTerm but if so I'm not aware of it.
