如果你是一名中国大陆出生（aka 绿卡排期可能巨长）的人，并且你对生活的规划是一定需要绿卡并最后在美国定居的话，我不建议走曲线救国来加拿大搞国籍并用 TN Visa 的路线。

因为 TN Visa 是非移民签证，非移民签证，非移民签证。你不能通过 TN Visa 的工作来开始你在美国的绿卡申请。

我认识一些拿 TN Visa 去美国再抽 H1B 并且让公司帮忙办绿卡的，但都是非中国大陆出生的加拿大公民，他们可以这样操作的主要原因还是没有排期……

象上的 data point 可能不是很多我只能努力自己思考一些问题来自己回答了。

申请 TN Visa 只需要一个美国公司的offer即可，不需要大公司，随便一个startup 都行（最近有一个只有6个人的startup 联系我问我要不要面试，说可以走 TN Visa 并让我一直在加拿大远程）。一定要说区别的话，就是大公司可能有固定合作的律师行帮你办 TN Visa ，小公司的话可能需要你自己去提交材料。我也不清楚美国到底什么叫 sponsorship 不好说这个要不要sponsorship 但它对公司资质的要求肯定没有 H1B 那么高（毕竟6人公司都可以接受）。

另外一个是申请TN Visa 时需要你的学历和你的工作有一定吻合度。

这样一想我最近一年又多了一点可以分享的经验了。。。

就是入籍后走 TN Visa 给美国公司直接打工，住在加拿大拿美国工资（虽然因为公司要求 return to office 很可能这份工要打不了了哈哈哈）

但是想来想去这个事好像没有什么特别的点，整个过程非常丝滑……唯一需要注意的点是：TN Visa 属于非移民签证，如果希望/需要定居美国的话，还是得走 H1B 或者其他签证再去排绿卡；比较适合我这种并不打算美国定居的人。
