Specifically, I'm very much a #Linux only person. Twenty years ago maybe this was out of some foolish nerd smugness or something, but these days it's habit more than anything else.
Is anybody else out there using one of these sequencers on Linux? What are your experiences with e.g. firmware updates? I've got the thing enumerating and showing up under `lsusb` for example, but while I am a very experienced unix person, I am very much a total neophyte when it comes to #MIDI and #DAW type things.
I suppose my next step is to try and see whether it shows up in #Reaper, but I don't know how to use that, either. Fun times!

Daniel DurransI bought an 'I'm feeling ill so I'll buy myself a present' present earlier this week and it is SO MUCH FUN. I need an audio interface so I can record this, but patching the Korg SQ-1 into the Moog Mavis is resulting in some lovely repetitive patterns.
