9/10 for #cDrama #SunshineByMySide - awesome dialog, intelligent and progressive, and with lots of character growth for most. As a romance, though, it was a bit of a caffeine-free diet coke. Which leaves me singing a Def Leppard hit and hoping the #twDrama original will oblige 👨🦳😆
nto ep 27/36 in #cDrama #SunshineByMySide and it's still great, but I'm increasingly intrigued to check out the original. I started this one because I'm a sucker for noona-dongsaeng stories, but this one's 75% done with ZERO OTP romance, barring his two calmly & firmly rejected confessions

12/36 done with #cDrama #SunshineByMySide and so far, its tracking for a 9/10. One thing that amuses me is the amount of screen-time given to ice hockey. There's probably already been more screen-time showing practice and games than there was of rugby in #kDrama #TheWinningTry - which is amusing because the players are all students at a music college and there's been about 2 minutes showing any of them playing an instrument.
I'm always surprised when #cDrama subs reveal they were NOT written by someone whose primary English is from North America. The presence of one small word in this screenshot from #CDrama #SunshineByMySide is an example. A word that is always prefixed as a qualifier in NZE, AusE and BrE (afaik), never in US English and SUPER ESPECIALLY NEVER EVER in Canadian English 😂
After a detour through a #kDrama #TheWinningTry 3 #Chihayafuru #jMovie , and a #kMovie #UntangledLove it's back to #cDrama #SunshineByMySide In a rare twist for me, I'm watching a remake before the original. It will be interesting to see how #twDrama #MyDearBoy compares when I try it after this. The fact that its total runtime is around two hours shorter is already a plus, sight unseen

HenrietteMy, oh my! So many new dramas and so little time to keep up. I've decided to try to spread out my viewing choices: "Legend of Zhuohua" is my top priority = really good, historical drama w/ round + flawed characters; next "Sunshine by my Side" w/ Xiao Zhan just dropped so am following that; lastly, "My Journey to You" surprise-dropped and I wanted to check it out and it's angsty, beautiful, stylish and Zhang Linghe is in it.
