@kasilas A posse (what's the collective noun for economists?) of economics professors sound like tantrum-prone toddlers in the #SundayBusinessPost today - including quotes from two who vocally spew exactly the growth crap the President was denouncing.

I get their "not reflective of modern economics" claim, but the President perfectly captured the ranty, growth-obsessed, neoliberal, egotistical reality of #Ireland's loudest economists on social media.
