Al SuttonI find it interesting to watch the look on folks faces as I explain that using #ML / #AI coding tools (#copilot, #android #studiobot, etc.) is like giving access to your code to an unhelpful coder;
It won't sign a company specific employment contract, NDA, etc., and so it has little accountability for what it gives you.
It won’t help you learn about the problem domain, or what trade-offs and alternatives it considered.
It won't mentor you to be come a better programmer.
It is a tool.
