📢 𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗬𝗢𝗨! We’ve launched a public consultation on our bold new Climate and Nature Strategy — and your voice matters.
This strategy builds on our 2030 vision and sets out a cleaner, greener fairer future where:
✅ Homes and workplaces are energy-efficient
✅ Nature thrives across the district
✅ Food is sustainable and affordable
✅ Public transport is easy and accessible
✅ We adapt to climate impacts like flooding and heatwaves
✅ And much more…
💬 Cllr Chloe Turner: “We’re being honest about our carbon impact and ambitious about our future. This is about improving quality of life for everyone.”
Whether you’re a resident, business owner, student, or part of a community group — we want your views!
👉 Read the draft strategy and take part in the consultation here:

PS. On a personal note, sadly, I cannot attend but I’m getting back to some sort of fitness. I’m in the shop three days a week (Tue, Thu & Sat 10-3pm) now and on track to resume normal council duties by the end of the month. I’m dealing with casework in the background, contact via e-mail is preferred.
