My mother has been complaining that I make her scratchy sweaters. So I endeavoured to make her the softest of garments: a lace cardigan. Lace yarn has to be spun so thinly that the fibers tend to face the same way, thereby being less scratchy. Also, it’s so sheer that the real risk lies more in her scratching the fabric.

But she loves it and that’s all that counts.

Strikk & spis er et konsept Egon har startet. Lurer på hvordan man gjennomfører noe sånt. Jeg vet at strikkere kan gjøre flere ting samtidig som å snakke, se på tv og drikke, men spise samtidig som man strikker? Er det mulig? Kan jeg være publikum?

Have you ever tried knitting double brioche?

I'm knitting a hat for my son, Folke, using the double brioche stitch. This technique creates a ribbed fabric that is incredibly squishy and thick. It's also surprisingly easy to knit!

I'm using two colors that are very close in hue, which I love because they create a subtle color effect—almost like a shadow.

The yarn is DropsAir and DropsKidSilk 💙🩵❤️
