If you're a fan of trolleys/trams/interurbans/electric railways, you should contact the city council of Yakima, WA today to urge them to keep the Yakima Valley Trolley line intact. They have a vote on this tonight.
They are voting on whether an upcoming street renovation should at least keep retaining tracks as an option (not actually voting to spend money on it at this point).
