I created the Art Direction and 3D Animation for this video-art piece, which investigates the relationship between body and movement by tracking points on the human body in practices such as capoeira, street dance, and ballet. These motions are converted into data that generates digital particles, tracing three-dimensional lines that follow and expand gestures in space.
The effect was created in Blender, using Geometry Nodes to generate strokes from the geometry of an animated human body model. The motion capture of dances, runs, and gestures are from Mixamo.
