Mentre il film continua a macinare incassi in tutto il mondo – al momento ha raggiunto i 300 milioni di dollari a livello globale – alcune fonti hanno rivelato a Variety quanto abbiano guadagnato le attrici per tornare sul set a 20 anni dal primo film.
Meryl Streep, di nuovo nei panni di Miranda Priestly, era l’elemento chiave per i produttori e per 20th Century Studios. Lo studio, sempre secondo le fonti, si sarebbe presentato con un’offerta all’altezza dell’icona del cinema: per rimettere la parrucca argentata di Miranda, Streep avrebbe incassato 12,5 milioni di dollari. La stessa cifra sarebbe stata riconosciuta anche ad Anne Hathaway ed Emily Blunt. Le tre attrici avrebbero infatti negoziato un accordo ‘favored nations’, che garantisce a tutte lo stesso compenso.
Oltre ai lauti compensi fissi, le tre star di Hollywood avrebbero negoziato sostanziosi bonus legati agli incassi del film, che si attiveranno al superamento di determinate soglie al botteghino. Secondo quanto riferito da fonti vicine alla produzione, citate dal magazine Variety, tali bonus avrebbero già cominciato a maturare grazie all’ottima accoglienza riservata dal pubblico alla pellicola.
