For anyone who's read Sangu Mandanna's The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches (one of my very favorite books this year), her epilogue short story is so sweet and so much fun - and she's giving it away free as a holiday gift! It's link number 3 on this list: https://linktr.ee/sangumandanna
For Day 24 of #DecRecs, I'm recommending Thea Harrison's The Chosen, a lovely, wintry fantasy romance novella that works as a perfect standalone whether or not you've read the larger series it fits into. You can read my full review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2373745914

It's Day 20 of #DecRecs, and today I'm recommending what might be my new favorite-ever Christmas romance novella, @O_Waite's Hen Fever: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/66626889-hen-fever
It's just so beautifully written, funny and wise and deeply heartfelt, and the ending made me glow with happiness. I'll be re-reading this one many times!
I also need to catch up on #DecRecs after missing yesterday, and luckily, I know just what to recommend: @naomikritzer's short story "The Dragon Project," which is hilarious, surprisingly sweet, has a perfect ending, AND is free to read online. Enjoy! https://clarkesworldmagazine.com/kritzer_03_22/
It's Day 14 of #DecRecs! Today I'm recommending @matociquala's beautiful, heart-full short story "The Part You Throw Away," about family, love, ghosts, food, and survival. It will make you hungry - and the ending makes me cry in a good way, every single time. https://www.sundaymorningtransport.com/p/the-part-you-throw-away
