Oh, hey. Folks in the path of this soon-stalling monsoon maker might want to stay home tomorrow. I tried driving to Compaq in what was then called a 100-year flood. I barely got going when the freeway stalled. I took an offramp, and thought I'd check a frontage road that ran parallel to it. At an overpass, water sufficient to float cars was pooling. I gave up, called into work, and was fortunate to make it back home. A couple of blocks from my house, people were using rowboats to move around.

This sounds like one of those events is brewing for Friday. Stay weather aware! Don't get caught in traffic.
