Bill 21 was adopted in June 2019. The gov invoked the clause, valid for 5 yrs, in order 2 override fundamental rights & impose ban on persons in positions o authority like judges, police officers & teachers from wearng #ReligiousSymbols such as a #hijab, #crucifix, #turban or #kippah while on the job
