There are three constitutional amendments I'd like to see in Canada.

1) An amendment that requires all future amendments to be single issues (i.e. no packages of amendments like Meech Lake). Allowing Provinces to use a proposed amendment as a bargaining chip for another amendment keeps the constitution from evolving as Canadian society evolves.

2) The removal of the notwithstanding clause. Section 1 of the Charter already allows for reasonable, testable in court, exceptions. There is no need for a political override.

3) A ban on the sale of Crown Corporations and National/Provincial Paris without a referendum (with an exception for the return of lands to their Indigenous owners)
