Or, y'know, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, or Norwa which have their own state religion and a King (the most common countries for these types of people to cite as their model of "Secular"). Or Scotland or Finland which at least has no Monarch but does have their own state religion. Or Portugal or El Slavador with Catholicism.
Or Thailand for being Buddhist in approximately the same manner in which Israel is Jewish.
The fact is that the people who espouse this kind of thing see Christian dominion as the natural order of the world and any acknowledgement or protections for non-Christians besides it as being ✨️religious✨️.
The maddest anybody has ever been at me was when I said that they could have opinions on other nations' religious protections when their country (Denmark) had even a single party that advocated against having a state religion and a Monarchy and they got furious I wouldn't say Denmark was Secular.
