There are some sectors that require #Starlink, like shipping, airlines and some isolated communities. Maybe in time of natural disaster it will be of temporary use. I would love to know the ROE on constant replenishment that #startLink will be require. Put simply economics will doom this. The market size is not big enough.

Peter Henry@waldoj One million customers at $120 per month is not so bad as a base revenue. #startlink was never claimed to be cost effective in towns and cities and calling hard to reach areas "deprived" because they can't get full motion video is a bit disingenuous too (unless you want to bomb the Russian fleet)
A stamp for a letter costs US$1.32 in the UK. Being able to get a VOIP call to supplement 3G coverage and a few bytes/second for invoicing via email makes a big difference to a Scottish farmer!
